Mossy Oak Camo Cake

This cake is for my Dad's birthday. He's a hunter and fisherman and loves his wheeler, so I had to go with a camo theme. It is a chocolate cake with (extra) chocolate frosting for all the chocoholics in my family.

Baseball Stadium Cake

This cake was so much fun to make! Maybe because I am such a Twins fan? Maybe because the Twins were on a winning streak while I was working on it? Maybe because it was for a 4 year old and I'm a sucker for cute preschoolers? Whatever the reason, I had a blast making this cake and am totally amazed at how it turned out. Its not meant to be a replica of any particular stadium, its just a general stadium with a Twins theme :) The cola cup, peanuts, hotdog, and glove/ball along the top are candles. The lights really work! The big screens feature a picture of the birthday boy, as well as a message from his dad wishing him a happy birthday. This cake is chocolate with a fudge filling and chocolate frosting

Easter Cakes Galore!!

I made 3 Easter cakes this weekend. Each one had a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting bottom layer and the top layers were white cake tie dyed purple, pink, yellow, and green. The layers are lined with jelly beans, and the grass on the top is edible!

Its kinda hard to see the difference between the green and the yellow layers in this pic, but they are there!

Black and White Polka Dots and Stripes

This cake was for a friend's little girl who is turning 6. She was having a fancy party with her friends, and wanted a fancy cake to match her dress :)
The bottom of this cake is chocolate with chocolate frosting and the top layer is white cake tie dyed with pink black and white with chocolate frosting. This cake would serve around 25.

Happy 18th Birthday!!

My sister-in-law turns 18 this month and she wanted a blue and purple cake. We found these edible image doodles online and  I just kinda threw it all together. It is a German chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting between the layers and chocolate frosting under the fondant. This size cake will serve around 25.
